Can’t stop thinking about how delicious the food was! Vegan cuisine has come a long way in the 26 years I’ve been excited to find them wherever I’m at and it shows. The server Blanca was so sweet and accommodating as soon as I got there and throughout my whole experience! Chef Dalan is a culinary king, this is a restaurant that any diet would absolutely love. He was working the line and giving the last min touches before the plates went out, clearly he puts his heart into these dishes! The presentation was so beautiful and the food was so yummy, hitting lots of satiating flavors! I ordered the nachos and the flautas (I requested no beans and rice btw, so this dish is worth it!) and I couldn’t stop eating even though I was so full! I also ordered the peach desert and a cheesecake to go before I made my way back to LA. Wish this existed a lot closer, but def be back anytime I’m in that area!

What an incredible vegan find in Santa Barbara!! Food is really really really good. Atmosphere reminds me of cute places in Mexico City. Great music, vibe, service. Definitely will be back

We went today to Rascal’s Vegan in Santa Barbara and had such a great experience! The oyster mushroom skewers were a special today so delicious with an amazing smoky flavor. My husband and I love trying Mexican vegan dishes, and everything was really good. The crunchwrap with green salsa is perfect if you like beans and cheese, and the Baja cauliflower tacos were amazing the crispy tempura and chipotle mayo were so good. The Limon y Pepino drink was refreshing too. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely delicious food. Everything we tried was delicious. Friendly and fast service. The charred broccoli was my absolute favourite. The churros were also yummy. This is a must try spot for vegans in the area!

We always like to support vegan restaurants when traveling. Tonight we had a half appetizer plate of the mushroom nachos covered with a delicious creamy cashew sauce with pickled beets, mushroom asada and cilantro. Hands down winner of tonight's meal! For main courses we shared the crunchwrap, which was crispy and wonderfully flavored with layers similar to nachos. The only negative were the sopas, very bland and not like what you see in their on line photos. Just mushrooms, later of beans and about a 5" disc of a sopa. And at $28 very much over priced and underwhelming. Grateful we ordered other items besides these, otherwise a lower rating overall. The vibe was nice inside, could have been a bit warmer, and the bathrooms smelled like a sewer, a clean sewer that is...with a smell. Dress the sopas up and get some better fragrance going in the bathroom. Will visit again just for the nachos!
